Accommodation schedule fot he 2026/2027 academic year

Recruitment for TUL students without an allocated place in Dormitory for the year 2026/2027

  • 05.08-14.08.2026 - submission of applications by TUL students through  
    • the Recruitment Portal (redirect to the USOSweb) for newly admitted TUL students;
    • the university's electronic system WebDziekanat for TUL students without an allocated place in Dormitory.

Application for a single room should be submitted electronically and emailed with an attachment confirming the random situation to osiedle@samorzad.p.lodz.pl, title:  

[First and Last Name] Single Room August 2026 
e.g. John Doe Single Room August 2026

  • 15.08-25.08.2026 - verification of documentation by the Committee responsible for TUL Student Government Accommodations
  • 26.08.2026 - sending information about the decision:
    • via the USOSweb system for newly admitted students at the TUL;
    • via email to the University’s Email System (SPE) for other students. 

Recruitment for TUL students without an allocated place in Dormitory for the year 2026/2027 - II round of recruitment:  

  • 02.09-09.09.2026 - submission of applications by TUL students through  
    • the Recruitment Portal (redirect to the USOSweb) for newly admitted TUL students;
    • the university's electronic system WebDziekanat for TUL students without an allocated place in Dormitory.

  • 10.09-17.09.2026 - verification of documentation by the Committee responsible for TUL Student Government Accommodations;
  • 18.09.2026 - sending information about the decision:  
    • via the USOSweb system for newly admitted students at the TUL;
    • via email to the University’s Email System (SPE) for other students. 
       

Transfers for TUL students with an allocated place in a student house in earlier recriutments: 

The transfer application must be submitted based on the rules and deadlines applicable to the second round of recruitment (September) electronically using the electronic form.


Announcement concerning accommodation in TUL Dormitories in the academic year 2026/2027

  1. Accommodation of first-year students for the academic year 2026/2027 in Student Dormitories of Lodz University of Technology takes place from September 23, 2026 (Wednesday) to September 25, 2026 (Friday) from 8:00 to 16:00.
  2. Newly admitted students (students of the first year and higher) who have received decisions on accommodation in student dormitories of Lodz University of Technology for the academic year 2026/2027 pay a deposit of PLN 400.00 for October 2026 by August 31, 2026, as a confirmation of the accommodation. Failure to pay the deposit by August 31, 2026, will result in the loss of the granted place.
  3. Students of later years of study who apply for a place in dormitories of Lodz University of Technology (the so-called "Small Applications"), who have received a decision on accommodation for the academic year 2026/2027, pay a deposit of PLN 300.00 for October 2026 by 31 August 2026 as a confirmation of the accommodation. Failure to pay the deposit by August 31, 2026, will result in the loss of the granted place.
  4. The deposit will be credited towards the fee for the use of the accommodation in October 2026. If the allocated accommodation is not taken up, the deposit is not refundable.
  5. The final date of accommodation of students of later years for the new academic year 2026/2027 expires on September 25, 2026 (Friday). 
  6. On September 28, 2026 (Monday) by 9:00 all vacant places will be transferred to the Committee for TUL Residential Area of the TUL Student Government.
  7. Newly admitted students interested in living in TUL Student Dormitories should apply in person to the TUL Student Government Office located in the TUL C15 Building in Lodz at Politechniki 3a, 1st floor, on September 28, 2026 (Monday) between 10:00 and 12:00 to receive a referral for accommodation. It is necessary to fill in the application for accommodation in the Dormitory of Lodz University of Technology in advance (optionally an additional completed application for a single room together with an external document confirming the need for accommodation in a single room or optionally an additional completed application for a mixed-gender room) and take a hard copy of the confirmation of admission to studies (e.g. a copy of the letter with the decision of admission to studies, a printed screenshot of the student's profile from the Lodz University of Technology WIKAMP IT system with visible  information about the student, a certificate of student status).
  8. Students who obtain accommodation referral on September 28, 2026 (Monday) must report to the dormitory by 14:00 on the same day. Otherwise, they lose the assigned place. 
  9. On September 29, 2026 (Tuesday) by 9:00 all vacant places will be transferred to the Committee for TUL Residential Area of the TUL Student Government.
  10. On September 29, 2026 (Tuesday) from 11:00 to 13:00, the Committee for The TUL Residential Area of the TUL Student Government allocates the remaining free places in the Dormitories. Students interested in living in TUL Dormitories should report in person to the TUL Student Government Office located in the TUL C15 Building in Lodz at Politechniki 3a, 1st floor. It is necessary to complete the application for accommodation at the TUL Dormitory in advance (optionally, a completed application for a single room, together with an external document confirming the need for a single room, or, optionally, a completed application for a gender-mixed room) and to bring a hard copy of your confirmation of admission to the university to the reception desk (e.g. a copy of the letter of admission, a printed screenshot of your student profile from the TUL WIKAMP IT system showing your personal details, or a certificate confirming your student status).
  11. Students who, on September 29, 2026 (Tuesday) after 11:00 obtain the approval of the Committee for TUL Residential Area of the TUL Student Government must by 14:00, report to the dormitory for accommodation on the same day. Otherwise, they lose the assigned place. 
  12. On September 30, 2026 (Wednesday) by 9:00 all vacant places will be transferred to the Committee for TUL Residential Area of the TUL Student Government. 
  13. On 30 September 2026 (Wednesday) between 11:00 and 13:00 the Committee for The TUL Residential Area of the TUL Student Government allocates the remaining free places in the Dormitories. Newly admitted students interested in living in TUL Student Dormitories must apply in person to the TUL Student Government Office located in the TUL C15 Building in Lodz at Politechniki 3a, 1st floor. It is necessary to complete the application for accommodation at the TUL Dormitory in advance (optionally, a completed application for a single room, together with an external document confirming the need for a single room, or, optionally, a completed application for a gender-mixed room) and to bring a hard copy of your confirmation of admission to the university to the reception desk (e.g. a copy of the letter of admission, a printed screenshot of your student profile from the TUL WIKAMP IT system showing your personal details, or a certificate confirming your student status).
  14. Students who, on 30 September 2026 (Wednesday), after 11:00 obtain the approval of the Committee for TUL Residential Area of the TUL Student Government must by 14:00, report to the dormitory for accommodation on the same day. Otherwise, they lose the assigned place. 
  15. From October 5, 2026, the Committee for TUL Residential Area of the TUL Student Government resumes its Monday office hours from 17:30 in the TUL Student Government Office located in the TUL C15 Building in Lodz at Politechniki 3a, 1st floor.
  16. In accordance with the provisions of the Regulations of Student Dormitories at the TUL Residential Area (Chapter II.1. Granting Accommodation, § 14.7.) "A person who has been granted accommodation in the student dormitory for the new academic year is required to pay the fee for the whole of October, even if they move in at a later date."

Newly admitted students who have been granted accommodation in the student dormitory for the first time pay a deposit for October 2026 to the bank account of the Student Dormitory in which they received accommodation (with a note "first year"):

Students of later years of study who extend their accommodation in the same student dormitory pay a deposit for October 2026 to an individual bank account for dormitory fees.

Students of later years of study who extend their accommodation in another dormitory pay a deposit for October 2026 to the general bank account of the student dormitory in which they received accommodation (account numbers above).
