This year’s competition attracted record interest, with 166 applicants. Thanks to the support of the programme’s patrons, the scholarship amount was increased to PLN 7,500. Ultimately, the jury selected fourteen winners representing diverse faculties, passions, and research areas, united by outstanding achievements and exceptional commitment.

Among the award recipients were, among others, Łukasz Misiak (IFE/Chemistry), involved in a self-healing construction materials project that has attracted the attention of the industry, and Stanisław Rochala, (BAIŚ), who actively participates in international architectural workshops. Automotive innovations are being developed by Tomasz Cieślak (EEIA) and Tomasz Waś (IFE/Mechanical Engineering), both affiliated with the Łódź Solar Team, while Szymon Wiśniewski (EEIA) – the first-place winner of the International Small Wind Turbine Contest – continues his research on small wind turbines.

Among the awardees were also students engaged in social and organizational activities, such as Oliwia Brodowicz (IFE/Management and Production Engineering), as well as those who combine scientific interests with creative work, like Wiktoria Sokołowska (Textiles and Fashion Design) – the author of costumes and stage designs for performances presented as part of the Four Cultures Festival. Bartosz Kamiński (IFE/FTIMS) and Błażej Kowalski (Faculty of Chemistry) can boast numerous publications, while Aleksandra Telbuch (Management and Production Engineering) has also achieved sporting success in academic competitions. The group of laureates also included Jan Pilarski (BAIŚ), Zuzanna Pająk (IFE/FTIMS), Weronika Wolna (Faculty of Chemistry), and Eldar Mukhtarov (IFE/EEIA), whose projects and research have earned the recognition of experts.

This year's scholarships would not have been possible without the support of partners and patrons, including the Łódź Special Economic Zone, Hitachi Energy Poland, Łódź Agglomeration Railway, Skarbiec TFI, BL Development, Makolab, Łukasiewicz-Łódź Institute of Technology, CitoNet-Bydgoszcz, Łódź Regional Development Agency and PoliClinic – FPŁ Medical Centre.

The programme was held under the honorary patronage of the rector of TUL, Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik. Such initiatives enable young scientists to develop their projects, allow business representatives to support emerging talent, and position Lodz University of Technology as an institution that empowers students to create and advance innovative solutions.
