The founders' meeting of the Employers' Association of Innovative, Consulting and Development Companies 'INDORO' was held today (21 August) at Lodz University of Technology. More than a dozen representatives of universities, chambers of commerce, private companies and NGOs involved in innovation, consulting and development services were present in the office of Rector Professor Krzysztof Jóźwik, who hosted this important meeting for the new initiative.

Assoc. Prof. Grzegorz Liśkiewicz, Ph.D. has been accepted into the Leadership Academy for Poland (LAP), one of the best leadership development programs run, among others, by Harvard University lecturers.

The International Cooperation Centre of TUL, thanks to the NAWA - National Agency for Academic Exchange, under the 'Strategic Partnerships' programme, is implementing a new stage of the project 'ActiveD2-Active Double Degree - Implementation of a joint degree model based on active teaching and learning methods'. One of its tasks is participation in study visits, during which students from our university carry out process and technology audits in France, while students from the partner university in&ma (École Supérieure de la Performance) visit companies in Poland. Two of the four trips planned as part of the project have already taken place.

Jan Kałusowski won silver in the 100m classic style, while Mateusz Rzeźniczak stood on the podium in the 4x400m relay at the Summer Universiade in Chengdu.

The results of the call for proposals submitted under ACTION 2 Cooperation partnerships in higher education have been announced. The project submitted by TUL International Cooperation Centre #edu4sdgs - Building a Comprehensive Educational Ecosystem for Sustainable Development Goals was among the Top10 applications that received funding. It refers to two issues - emotional intelligence and the Sustainable Development Goals as defined in Agenda 2030.

60 places within 12 disciplines and four scientific domains await future PhD candidates for the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School (IDS) at Lodz University of Technology.

The Erasmus+ National Agency and the European Solidarity Corps have announced the results of the projects selected for Action 2 - Cooperation Partnerships for Higher Education competition 2023. Lodz University of Technology has received funding for three proposals amounting to €1.2 million.
