An interdisciplinary team of researchers led by Prof. Magdalena Długosz-Lisiecka, an expert in radiation chemistry and nuclear physicist, has discovered new properties of fossils. Paleobiologist Dr. Daniel Tyborowski from the Museum of the Earth of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw also took part in the pioneering discovery, where - during a press conference - the scientists spoke about their research. Prof. Joanna Kałużna-Czaplińska from the Faculty of Chemistry at TUL, was this year's winner of the Prof. Andrzej Waksmundzki Medal, the founder of Polish chromatography. This is the highest distinction awarded by the Committee of Analytical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

In the grand final of the World Robot Summit, the Raptors team from Lodz University of Technology stood on the podium and took third place. In the finals, our team was the only one from outside Japan.  

A team of Robotics students from the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering at Lodz University of Technology has once again achieved international success. They took third place in the grand finals of the World Robot Summit in Japan.

This significant project provides about PLN 1 billion of funding for the digitization of public offices. It will be implemented by the Digital Poland Projects Centre(CPPC) and Lodz University of Technology.

We know the winners of the competition organised by the Rector of TUL for the best description of the impact on the functioning of society and economy in criterion III of scientific discipline evaluation. Twenty four applications were submitted. On Thursday, 23 September, the competition was adjudicated.
