In the course of carrying out the project to boost commercialization potential of research establishments in the łódzkie voivodeship, prof. Agnieszka Zakrzewska-Bielawska, accompanied by prof. Magdalena Grębosz-Krawczyk, dr inż. Iwona Staniec, and dr inż. Sylwia Flaszewska, went to Brussels to meet representatives of the European Commission in charge of developing community policy for knowledge valorization.

Once again, most important Polish innovators met in Uniejów (19-20.10) at the Smart Development Forum (SDF), also known as the Congress of Projects of the Future. The Forum is a good opportunity to recognize the best Polish projects.

For 50 years now, materials engineering has been the subject of education and the object of research at Lodz University of Technology. The semicentennial anniversary, as well as the spectacular achievements during this time, certainly made the cause for a celebratory event which was attended by a large number of alumni, university staff, and business partners.

From Kusadasi, Turkey, where the General Assembly of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) was held, Lodz University of Technology returned with two prestigious awards.

At the General Assembly of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) held in Kuşadasi (Turkey), Lodz University of Technology was awarded for the organization of the European Universities Games Lodz 2022 (EUG).

The Dean of the Faculty of Organization and Management, prof. Agnieszka Zakrzewska-Bielawska, accompanied by prof. Magdalena Grębosz-Krawczyk and dr inż. Iwona Staniec, visited four of Ireland's leading universities: Trinity College Dublin, Dublin City University, Munster Technological University in Cork, and the University of Limerick. The tour was one of the tasks in the project ‘Valorization of Knowledge at the regional level’.

On Friday, October 13, one in a series of nationwide workshops, part of regional conferences on strategic planning and implementation of microcredentials, was hosted at Lodz University of Technology under the theme 'Microcredentials and Erasmus+'. Earlier this October, the workshops have been carried out in Katowice, Kraków, and Opole.

Running the workshops, whose purpose is , to introduce participants to microcredentials and present options to acquire Erasmus + funding for partnership projects to develop a microcredentials system, are the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps National Agency and the Erasmus+ InnHUB Innovation Centers.

The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) hosted the first ever ECIU University Research Conference. This extraordinary event was attended by representatives of the 14 allied universities, alongside representatives of public institutions (e.g., municipality, township bodies) as well as private organizations. The conference was held under the theme of challenge-based approach, because the participating researchers unanimously agreed that education, research, and innovation can thrive and flourish only if they are situated within well-connected ecosystems, where different stakeholders collaborate robustly.
