A computer game during functional magnetic resonance imaging, developed at the Institute of Information Technology at the Faculty of Technical Physics, Information Technology and Applied Mathematics at TUL, won in the "Transformation Partner/Solution Provider" category. This was the 25th edition of the competition organised by the K.I.D.S. Foundation - 'Children's Hospital of the Future'.
Lodz University of Technology has a new partner - Anwim S.A., owner and operator of the MOYA petrol station chain. The agreement provides for joint projects and research and development work on eco-innovation.

Prof Andrzej Bartoszewicz from the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering has been elected President of the Lodz Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences for the term 2023-2026.
Prof Bartoszewicz is an expert in control theory and director of the Institute of Automatic Control. He belongs to a small group of 2% of the most cited scientists in the world. He has been a correspondent member of the Polish Academy of Sciences since 2016.
The XV European Economic Forum, organised by the Marshal's Office of the Łódź Voivodeship, begins on 14 December. Lodz University of Technology (30 November) was the venue for the closing session of the OSCE Civic Solidarity Platform meeting. The conference adopted the Lodz Declaration, in which the authors call on the international community to halt Russian aggression against Ukraine, prevent impunity and ensure justice.
