Lodz University of Technology, as one of the first universities in Poland, received the prestigious title Microsoft Cloud University [Uczelnia w Chmurze Microsoft]. It is a distinction for exemplary use of modern tools and technologies in university activity.

Thus, the recognized global technology company, which has had a Polish branch for nearly 20 years, confirmed that Lodz University of Technology is among the leaders in IT technology and among the most innovative universities in Poland.

Nanotechnology, a second-cycle field of study offered by the Faculty of Chemistry, has obtained the accreditation of the Accreditation Commission of Universities of Technology (KAUT) and the EUR-ACE European Accreditation of Engineering Programmes quality certificate.

This year, on February 19, we celebrate Polish Science Day for the second time. How has research developed at Lodz University of Technology in the time that has passed since the new holiday was enacted? We would like to present a small part of 365 days of science at Lodz University of Technology.

We know the results of the Student - Inventor competition. Among the winners are doctoral students from Lodz University of Technology, Pawel Kielanowski and Lukasz Adamek, whose patent concerns animal temperature monitoring.

The Foundation of Lodz University of Technology submitted two projects to the competition entitled Scientific Lodz, Academic Lodz 2021: Lodz IT Days 2021 and Lodz students participating in the Solar Cars World Championship in Australia. Both were shortlisted.

We would like to invite you to the live broadcast of the ceremony of announcing the best secondary and technical schools in the region of Lodz, according to the opinion-forming Perspektywy 2021 Ranking. The meeting will be hosted by the Rector of Lodz University of Technology, Professor Krzysztof Jóźwik, who, together with the Vice Rector for Education, dr. hab. inż. Andrzej Romanowski, assoc. prof. will announce the winners of the first 10 places in each category.

Lodz University of Technology extends the time to submit documents for the second cycle studies starting in the summer semester.  

Under the new schedule, candidates have until Feb. 24. The postponement was called for by students.  

The Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA) has positively assessed the Computer Science field of study at Lodz University of Technology as well as it has awarded the prestigious Certificate of Excellence in Education.  

Until February 14th you could bid for items and services offered by TUL committee. After counting all collected funds, it turned out that this year was a record year for the TUL committee. We managed to collect 345 thousand zlotys!
