The ceremonial session of the Lodz University of Technology Alumni Association (SWPŁ) took place with the participation of representatives from the rector's and dean's offices, as well as individuals representing city and regional authorities. The meeting, attended by dozens of alumni who filled the auditorium at the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering (EEIA), was chaired by dr hab. inż. Jacek Szer, university professor.

The Institute of Applied Radiation Chemistry (MITR) at the Faculty of Chemistry hosted an international workshop from September 9-13, organized for the second time at the request and under the auspices of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA, UN). The scientific meeting, titled ‘Technical Meeting on Basic Radiation Chemistry in Polymer Modification’, focused on radiation chemistry and the technology of polymers.
