Lodz University of Technology is a consortium partner in the project JUMP: Joint University Challenge-Based Minor Program for Future Generation of Innovative Entrepreneurs. The International Cooperation Centre at Lodz University of Technology (TUL) is spearheading the innovative project ACE – Alliance for Community Engagement in European Higher Education. This project, developed in collaboration with partners from Ireland, Serbia, Estonia, Denmark, and Germany, aims to strengthen social responsibility of higher education institutions and foster social innovation and the development of local communities. With the support of the Erasmus+ program, the university has secured €400,000 for its implementation.

Achieving gender balance in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) is a key challenge today, requiring coordinated efforts at multiple levels. Education reform, addressing key factors for advancement, and mentoring are essential components of this process. By fostering synergies across all levels of education and industry, the goal is to increase the recruitment and retention of women in STEM programs and promote gender equality through targeted activities.
From September 3 to 6, the Targi Kielce Exhibition and Congress Center hosted the 32nd International Defense Industry Exhibition (MSPO), emerging as a nexus of innovation for security. The event featured a remarkable display of military equipment and a series of substantive meetings.

On September 1, the new term for the rector and deans at our university began.
An interesting debate concerning light pollution was held during the Pol'and'Rock festival. It was titled 'Breaking environmental taboos. Light. The whole truth about night sky light pollution'. The event was attended by experts in a range of research fields, including dr inż. Przemysław Tabaka, of the Institute of Electrical Power Engineering at Lodz University of Technology. The debate was organized by the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights, which indicates a need to address this issue.
