How can we make bridges, viaducts, and buildings more durable, safer, and environmentally friendly? The research conducted by Janusz Rogowski, PhD from the Department of Concrete Structures at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environmental Engineering , within a project funded by the National Science Centre under the MINIATURA 9 grant, aims to provide an answer to this question.

The Centre for Papermaking and Printing at Lodz University of Technology is launching a project entitled “The impact of micro- and nanocellulose on the mechanical and barrier properties of multilayer fibrous materials”. Lodz University of Technology (TUL) has established cooperation with Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT). The agreement aims to strengthen academic contacts and promote joint scientific initiatives between the two institutions. Damian Gębarski, Weronika Ławniczak, Aleksandra Bugajska, Michał Cegliński, and Zuzanna Czesna — architecture students — won an international contest for the adaptation of the palace and park complex in Zahrádky, Czechia.
