The EUREKA project submitted by Lodz University of Technology (TUL) under the SPINAKER program – Intensive International Education Programs – has received nearly 900,000 PLN in funding from the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).

The International Cooperation Centre of Lodz University of Technology hosted the inspiring training session “Ctrl+Alt+Empathy: Rebooting the Classroom with Emotional Intelligence,” which gathered 10 teachers and administrative staff from Lodz University of Technology and the University of Groningen. The event, held from June 9–13, allowed participants to jointly explore how empathy, openness to diversity, and emotional awareness can positively impact the academic environment and the quality of education.

The results of two rankings, Times Higher Education Impact 2025 and QS World University Rankings 2026, have been published. - In THE Impact, Lodz University of Technology managed to maintain its position from last year in the 601-800 range, despite more than 370 new universities joining the ranking in the latest edition. Similarly, in the second ranking, we retained last year’s position, although with such a dynamic increase in the number of participating universities - 2526 in total - maintaining last year’s position was not easy - commented the rector of Lodz University of Technology, Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik.
