Research achievements

Prof. Magdalena Grębosz-Krawczyk, PhD, DSc, Eng., is an expert in the field of brand management and consumer behaviour, whose research integrates marketing, social, and technological perspectives. 

Her key achievements between 2020 and 2025 include the development and verification of a model of consumer behaviour towards photovoltaic installations, which identified the role of environmental values, ecological knowledge, and economic benefits in decision-making processes. The results of this work, conducted for, among others, the European Commission (DG GROW), have become a significant contribution to the development of EU guidelines on energy labelling plans for sustainable products. 

Research profile and interests

The Professor's research interests focus on brand management, social media communication, marketing inclusivity, and consumer attitudes towards sustainable development and new technologies. 

She heads the Department of Marketing at Lodz University of Technology and is actively developing research on the social acceptance of the green transition. In her future research plans, Prof. Grębosz-Krawczyk intends to continue analysing consumer behaviour regarding green energy and the communication that supports it, as well as to develop issues concerning inclusive marketing communication, the valorisation of knowledge and international cooperation in the field of sustainable consumption. 

Collaboration and expert activity

The Professor has extensive experience in implementing international research projects, collaborating with renowned units such as the London School of Economics, Open Evidence, and the University of Nantes. 

She actively works towards the transfer of knowledge into practice, which is reflected in consultancy projects for the Marshal's Office of the Łódź Voivodeship and expertise provided for the European Commission. 

She is a valued expert at the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange and in the evaluation of doctoral schools, and her achievements include numerous publications, editorial roles, and chairing scientific council for conference dedicated to marketing and sustainable development.
